Ross Hopper.com Pty Ltd

Ross purchased his first container in 1995.  It didn't take long for local builders to notice it and realise how handy it would be to have on a building site.  The container side of things just grew and grew.

Not long after purchasing the first container, he became a depot for Claytons Towing.  He was able to use this towtruck to relocate the empty and loaded containers.

To advertise the company and phone number on the containers was becoming expensive as the number of containers grew.  So Ross decided to buy the computer cut lettering machine and do it himself.  Then of course when people found out about that - that business grew as well.

Ross' Dad, Harold, has a dairy farm in Maleny.  The deregulation of the milk industry has stuffed the farmers in a big way.  Harold was thinking of giving up farming, but together with Ross, and other son Keith, and daughter Kay, decided to fight back and build a Milk Processing Plant and

sell their own brand of milk.  Hence Maleny Dairies.

The water deliveries started when we had a long and very dry spell in Maleny.  We were carting water for our factory, and like all small towns, people started to hear about it.  We were able to utilize the milk tanker, as it was only needed for milk a few hours a day.

Ross Hopper.com Pty Ltd currently employs 17 staff, which is great for a small town like Maleny.
